Deputy Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Ivica Bosnjak met yesterday with the Ambassador of Switzerland to BiH Gabriele Derighetti, with whom he discussed the continuation and improvement of the existing cooperation between the two countries in the area of security, with a special emphasis on migration, asylum, and border management.

The focus of the meeting was on activities within the joint project “Enhancing Migration Management in the Western Balkans,” financed by Switzerland, as well as future initiatives aimed at strengthening operational capacities, information exchange, and the rule of law.

Deputy Minister Bosnjak thanked Switzerland for its continuous support and emphasized the importance of continuing the partnership relations that contribute to the stability and security of BiH and the entire region.

Derighetti confirmed his country’s commitment to continue supporting BiH, both in the area of security and in the process of European integration, and emphasized the importance of joint efforts in addressing security and development challenges, as stated by the Ministry of Security of BiH.
