Development of Economy, Employment and Job Creation Are Priorities for BiH

Member of the BiH Parliament Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Senad Šepić addressed the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, and spoke about the activities of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

This bank is one of the biggest institutional investors in BiH.

From 1996, since our country became a member of this institution, over 100 projects have been supported, mostly in the electro-energy sector, as well as road an utility infrastructure.

Šepić expressed his gratitude for the current activities of this institution, and invited the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to become mroe involved in economic reform and necessary progress on the Euro-Atlantic road.

Also, he encouraged foreign investors to BiH, to expand support in the private sector, and to develop small and medium-sized enterprises and to create new jobs that that currently what is most needed in BiH.
