Did BiH just get another Billionaire and the youngest one of them all?

Few companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) have experienced such a revival as Aluminij from Mostar, more precisely now Aluminij Industries.

The revenues of this company in the previous year exceeded the amount of one billion BAM. The owner of the company is M.T. Abraham Group, which is backed by Israeli businessman Amir Gross Kabiri, who now lives in BiH.

Kabiri came to Mostar a little more than two years ago. He took over Aluminij and in a short time returned it to the position of the largest BiH company in terms of export and import, and drastically increased revenues.

To recall, according to a recent survey, there are five billionaires in BiH. This does not mean that they have a billion BAM in cash, but that their total assets are worth that much. Those are: Senad Dzambic, the Hastor family, Petar Corluka, Svjetlan Stanic and the Bogdan family.

Kabiri, according to the value and results of the company, could probably be classified in this group, with the fact that he would be the youngest among them.

According to information from Wikipedia, Kabiri was born on August 29th, 1980. He attended Ironi Daled High School in Tel Aviv, Israel from 1992 to 1998, where he majored in business administration and managerial economics.

According to that source, Amir Gross Kabiri is a businessman, philanthropist, industrialist, publisher and art collector. He is the president of M.T. Abraham Group, CEO and founder of Aluminij Industries, and is best known as the owner of The Art Newspaper Israel.

He is the president of the company M. T. Abraham Group, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of the State of Israel in Mostar and the Jewish Municipality of Mostar.

Although he came from Israel, alone and without many acquaintances, he was immediately included in the society in BiH. He helps the community in various ways, mostly through sports and culture. He is the biggest sponsor of the soccer champion of BiH, club Zrinjski, and the world-famous swimmer Lana Pudar.

Kabiri comes from a wealthy family that has had businesses in Israel and around the world for decades. They have a group, a foundation… It is especially interesting that, in addition to business, he is a big collector of art worth millions. He brought part of it to the art gallery, which he donated to Mostar.

He recently stated that he does not plan to leave Mostar, at least not for a long time.

”I live in Mostar and BiH, that’s where I found my home. Of course, all that I am is my homeland, Israel, and I always return to it. Business today has taught us that we are never in one place. If we want to conquer world markets, I have to be in many countries, cities, continents, and get to know the local economy, people and life. So even now, I can say, I am part of the time in various parts of the world. But I return to Mostar, often with my family and friends. I want to bring good to BiHand not only through production and economy, but also through constant progress and strong engagement in the community and society so that together we can make the country recognizable for its many positive values. The voice of unity must be heard from BiH so that tomorrow we can all be proud of what is called our homeland,” he said recently, Biznis Info reports.
