After the meeting, Minister Crnadak told the press that topic regarding the EU path of BiH and bilateral relations dominated during the meeting.

Crnadak informed his Hungarian colleague about the latest events in relation to the adjustment of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, the coordination mechanism, and other topic related to the reforms on the EU path of BiH.

Ministers also discussed the economic cooperation of the two countries and concluded that the recently held joint commission of the two countries on economic cooperation was very successful.

“We want to increase our foreign trade exchange, which is now currently on the level of some 300 million EUR. We believe that the increasingly better transportation connection of the two countries will contribute to this,” Minister Crnadak said.

Crnadak highlighted that he expects that the direct flight Sarajevo-Budapest will be established by the end of the year. According to him, the airline Wizz Air, which is especially active from the Tuzla Airport, also contributes significantly to this kind of connection.

Ministers also discussed certain agreements between the two countries and Crnadak especially singled out the Agreement on double taxation, which is in the final stage of adjustment, and the Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism, which will be included in the agenda of one of the coming sessions of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
