The direct flight between Mostar and Belgrade will be available from the end of April until the end of October three times a week, and tickets should be around 60-65 euros on average, unofficially, said the Director of Mostar Airport, Marko Đuzel, in an interview with Fena.
– Air Serbia has fulfilled the conditions of the Public Call for the establishment of regular flights for 2024 and will operate direct flights on the route Mostar – Belgrade – Mostar. I think April 22nd is the first flight, and they will be available until the end of October with the possibility of an extension. Flights are scheduled to take place three times a week, on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. I hope that in the next seven to ten days we will define all other technical details and sign the contract. If everything goes well after that we will put the tickets on sale. Unofficially, the first set of return tickets should be around 60, 65 euros on average – said Đuzel.
Another company that met all the conditions of the Public Call is the Italian airline SkyAlps.
– They proposed connecting Mostar with Rome, Bari, Verona and Munich, we are currently in the process of defining the contract, and I expect that it should be signed by Wednesday, after which we would also immediately put the tickets on sale and we hope that they will not be negative surprises. Also, we are in talks with Polish LOT, there is some minimal chance for an agreement, but it is still far from being realized, so for now it is these six routes, three carriers SkyAlps, Croatia Airlines and AirSerbia. I think that is very good – emphasized Đuzel.
He said that he was satisfied with the flights in 2023, in which the Mostar airport had 20,500 passengers.
– I was appointed as the director in May 2023, we somehow arranged everything in that short period, we ended the year with 20,500 passengers, and almost 99 percent of that traffic took place in the last six months. This trend of passenger growth has continued and we can say that we are satisfied – said the director of the Mostar Airport.
