Sarajevo International Airport officially announced on Friday the launch of direct flights between Sarajevo and Copenhagen, operated by Norwegian.

“Starting from May 3rd, 2025, Norwegian Airlines will begin flights on the new Sarajevo – Copenhagen route. Flights will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, until the end of the summer flight schedule,” the announcement stated.

In addition to this new destination, Norwegian has also announced increased flight frequencies to Oslo and Stockholm during the summer period.

Tickets have been on sale since yesterday via Norwegian’s official website.

It should be mentioned that the representatives of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Government, the CS Tourist Board, and Sarajevo International Airport presented the results of a public call for aviation incentives in CS early last month. They announced eight new routes connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) capital with European metropolises.

On that occasion, flights to Copenhagen were announced, along with many other destinations for upcoming seasons.
