Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies has not received any information about threats to the Summit

Vucic ZvizdicDirectorate for Coordination of Police Bodies has not received any information about threats to the Summit of the Prime Minister held in Sarajevo. There were no threats neither before the start of the Summit nor during this event, is announced from this institution.

“Police agencies OSA and AF BiH, managed to secure the main strategic parts of the city and make this event to finish safely and with dignity. Everything was at a high level and was shown that police in cooperation with OSA can handle the most complex security challenges. In the future, the Directorate will establish cooperation and make its resources available, „said Mirsad Vilic, the director of the Directorate for Coordination of police bodies.

The operational headquarters were formed by the Directorate and on the occasion of the Summit where Agencies made their plans for security in their areas of jurisdiction.

“These are very demanding activities, ranging from security of the arrival up to departure of protected persons, and includes  physical, commercial, operational and KDZ insurance of movement routes, spare route of movement, venue of the summit, retention of protected persons, anti-sniper protection and all other types of protection. During the Summit, 800 persons worked for the security of participants, two antibob teams and police dogs to detect explosives,” said Bosnjak, Assistant Director of VIP protection and facilities of the Directorate.

Security checks included 1,277 persons who have had contact with the participants of the Summit, a certain number was under the operational control during the gathering.
