Merdic family from Tesanj and Muminovic family from Kakanj will remember the end of 2017 by financial support from the competent institutions that enabled them roof over their heads and return to normal life.
“Prime Minister Galijasevic visited areas hit by storms with other ministers and promised funds for the renovation of buildings, houses and other facilities. Merdic family in Tesanj lost their home, and we allocated 20,000 BAM for them. I hope that the Municipality of Tesanj will make a payment for this family that deserves to have their own home,” said Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Nurdjehan Sahinovic.
Smail Muminovic is a war veteran who lived with his family in a house without a bathroom, and every stronger wind could have destroyed it. The Municipality of Kakanj, which allocated 10,000 BAM, the Ministry for Veterans’ Affairs of ZDC with 20,000 BAM and the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy and Refugees with 10,000 BAM purchased apartment for Muminovic. Muminovic participated in the purchase with 5,000 BAM as well, and he thanked everyone with tears in his eyes.
Minister for Veterans’ Affairs of ZDC Fahrudin Colakovic noted that he is willing to help every disabled war veteran without a home.
“This is the way to solve all the problems, and this is the way of cooperation between the different levels of authority. We are all happy to take part in this project and I would like to thank the Mayor of Kakanj Nermin Mandra for asking us for help,” stated Sahinovic.
