The Assistant Director for General and Economic Affairs of the Chemical Industry “Distillation Teslic“, Radivoje Vukovic, said yesterday in Novi Sad that this company exports 96% of its production of charcoal and briquettes to the Western European market.
“Distillation“ annually exports around 15.000 tons of charcoal and briquettes to the EU, at a price of 400 euros per ton, which is very competitive price at those particular markets“, said Vukovic at the stand of the Republic of Srpska Chamber of Commerce that represents companies from RS at the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.
He added that the Serbian market absorbs products of “Distillation“ every year in the value of million euros.
According to his words, “Distillation“ achieves the enviable placement of the acetic acid in Serbia despite the unfair competition.
22 companies and firms from RS jointly represent at the stand of the Chamber of Commerce of RS at this year’s International Agricultural Fair.
