Divanhana_2013The public celebration of New Years will be held in front of the BBI Center in Sarajevo again this year.

The organizers have promised an unforgettable time with local artists, special effects, 2 fireworks and many surprises.

‘’We spoke with the members of Divanhana and with Frenkie, and negotiations are underway with members of Konvoj. We have still not signed contracts, but they are expected to perform on New Year’s Eve. However, they will not be the only performers. It was important to us that they are B&H artists and we wanted to give young people a chance to affirm them’’, said Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo City Aljoša Čampara to klix.ba.

A tender for a children’s program has been signed, which will also be held in front of BBI Center. Children from social institutions will be handed out presents.

With the revision of the budget of the City of Sarajevo administration, 60.000 BAM has been allocated for the public New Year’s Eve celebration. 10.000 BAM each will be given to four Sarajevo municipalities, Canton Sarajevo Tourist Board and Canton Sarajevo.

At midnight, the sky above Sarajevo will be covered with colorful fireworks. One will be organized in the center of the city, and the other in municipality Novi Grad.
