Doctors of UCC Tuzla successfully performed Transplantation of 5 Organs

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERADoctors of the University Clinical Center Tuzla (UCC) performed explantation, and right after that transplantation of 5 organs.

One kidney was transported to the Clinical Centre University of Sarajevo, while the other kidney, liver and cornea were transplanted in the UCC Tuzla.

Transplantation were successful without anesthesiological or surgical intraoperative complications.

The team of doctors who performed the explantation and transplantation of organs expressed their gratitude towards the members of the family of the donors, as well as their colleagues, supervisors from the Clinical Hospital Merkur in Zagreb, as said from the UCC Tuzla, which is currently the leading clinic in B&H by the number of transplanted organs.
