The 7th Media Forum of Southeast Europe (SEEMF) on “Journalism in Southeast Europe: Monopoly, business models and the struggle for equality” begins today at the Hotel “Sarajevo” in Sarajevo. The forum will last two days.
SEEMF is a traditional media forum and is held annually since 2007 in one of the countries of the region, announced the media organization of Southeast Europe (SEEMO). So far, the forum has been held in Zagreb, Sofia, Tirana, Budapest, Belgrade and Budva.
The Forum is a joint project of the Foundation “Konrad Adenauer“, the Central European Initiative (CEI) and SEEMO. The additional partners are the International Media Center (IMC), South, East and Central Europe PR Organization (SECEPRO), Raiffeisen Bank and the Association of “BH Journalists”.
The attendance of more than 200 media representatives from twenty countries of Southern, Central and Eastern Europe is expected.
