Dodik “compared” the Conflict in Gaza with BiH

Yesterday, the President of Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, addressed the journalists in Banja Luka, and commented on the conflict in the Middle East, as well as the latest statements of the Federal Minister of the Internal Affairs, RamoIsak, whom he also insulted.

During the rally in Zenica, as a sign of support for Palestine, Minister Isak addressed the crowd and said: “Together, God willing, we will liberate our Gaza, but in such a way as to convince all those who are silent to raise their voices and those who have the strength to do what they need to do.” Because of this statement, Dodik called him “sloppy”.

“Let him try to liberate. Let him set mom free. It is a difficult moment that exists in the conflict between Israel and Palestine, especially Hamas. What they did on October 7th is a crime that drew the attention of the whole world,” stressed Dodik.

He further states that the conflict in the Middle East is a difficult moment, and condemned the attack by Hamas on October 7th, stating that this crime cannot be forgiven.

He added that he believes that peace will be maintained here.

“The Americans decided a long time ago to centralize Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and to leave RS as an empty protocol shell. That is what we are fighting against. We are fighting for the Constitution of BiH. But, as you saw from certain statements of international representatives in Sarajevo, they believe that we do not understand it, that it is not a matter of the Dayton letters, but that it is a process. Well, we did not sign that process. No one from RS, nor Serbia signed the process, they signed the contract. And that contract clearly states what it says. The letter of the Dayton Agreement remains our goal. If this is not possible, the RS must find a way to continue its existence,” said Dodik.

He also commented on his last statements about the “unification of Serbs in the Balkans”.

“I deeply believe that the Serbian people have the right to their own unique state in the Balkans. After several centuries under Turkish rule, Britain did not allow the Serbs to organize their own state,” said Dodik.
