The leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik said today in Banja Luka that the political and economic situation in Republika Srpska is stable and that there are no challenges that could threaten them, and that inflation is subsiding.

“The Republika Srpska has stable institutions, the National Assembly makes decisions in accordance with the plan, and all institutions function in local communities,” Dodik said after the extended session of the SNSD Executive Committee.

He pointed out that Republika Srpska is fulfilling all contractual obligations when it comes to the economy. He reminded that pensions were increased by 13.5 percent in January, but also benefits for veteran categories and salaries by five percent.

Dodik said that the security situation in Republika Srpska is also stable.

When it comes to the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska demands that investment and development projects coming from Republika Srpska be put on the agenda as soon as possible, in accordance with the agreement which, he said, preceded the formation of the government at this level.
