After a meeting with the HDZ BiH delegation led by Dragan Covic, Milorad Dodik, the leader of the SNSD, stated that not only a political but also a systemic crisis was on the scene.
The culmination of such a situation is the competition of Inzko’s law. “Growing Muslim-Bosniak nationalism threatens the other two peoples,” Dodik claims.
Dragan Covic emphasized that a common position is necessary to ensure the legitimate representation of the constituent BiH people, after which life issues should be discussed. Asked to comment on the transfer of competencies from BiH institutions to the Republika Srpska level, specifically when it comes to the BiH Armed Forces and the Indirect Taxation Authority, he said that “HDZ BiH supports everything that is in accordance with the Constitution.”
Commenting on the same topic, Dodik said that the BiH Armed Forces were not filled with the planned percentage of members of both Croatian and Serbian staff, and that the entities were in charge of the defense system. He added that the right to self-determination is also defined by the Convention on Human Rights.
