Dodik: No Decision of the Constitutional Court can be made without at least one Serb

The president of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Milorad Dodik, said yesterday that he will propose a Bill on the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which would stipulate that no decision of the Court can be made unless one Serb, Croat and Bosniak votes for it.

He commented on the latest decisions of the Constitutional Court, but also on the announcement of the National Assembly of the RS (NARS), which will discuss the Bill on the non-applicability of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

“Three judges of the Constitutional Court who are foreigners are thrown out of it. RS elects three, FBiH another six. There will be a total of nine. The law will stipulate that a quorum must include the participation of all. The decision must have one vote of Serb, Croat, and Bosniak in order to be valid,” pointed out Dodik.

Dodik said that if there is no such thing, by overvoting everything loses any meaning.

“We don’t want to be part of that story,” said Dodik.

He added that only the naive can think that the RS authorities are making hasty moves.

Today, the NARS will consider the Bill on the non-applicabilityof decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH at a special session, Klix.ba reports.
