The President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, also spoke about the declaration of Pale as the “capital” of the RS in the RTRS special show “RS asks the president”.
He stated that the entire entity owes Pale the status of the capital.
“We decided to do so earlier and it only remains to formally do so,” Dodik said tonight.
However, it is unclear how he plans to formally declare Pale the capital and of what, considering that Bosnia and Herzegovina has only one capital, which is Sarajevo.
He also stated that Pale is a place that deserves to have a historical connotation of that kind.
“It should not be avoided. The entire Republika Srpska owes it to Pale. We started earlier to build the Museum of the Republika Srpska, we will continue to do all that,” said Dodik.
He once again announced changes to the Constitution of the RS in this mandate, and in that context he would probably make changes related to Pale, Klix.ba reports.
