Dodik thanked Varhelyi for understanding

Milorad Dodik, Member of Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Milorad Dodik pointed out yesterday in a telephone conversation with the European Union (EU)Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi that the institutions at the BiH level work to resolve issues that are a direct condition for its candidate status in the EU.

Thanking Varhelyi for his understanding of the situation in BiH, Dodik said that activities are underway to enact laws regarding the direct conditions and priorities set by the EU for BiH.

Dodik pointed out that in this regard, he will advocate for the resolution of all issues that are important not only for the European path of BiH, but also for the citizens of Republika Srpska (RS) and the Federation of BiH (FBiH).

”I will do everything in my power and the RS to resolve these issues as soon as possible for the benefit of all of us. I am not someone who blocks anything in this country and I think that BiH can live only if it has a clean account, and if it does not have clean accounts, that only creates additional problems,” stated Dodik in a telephone conversation with Varhelyi.

Varhelyi stated that the effort is noticeable and that it should be continued in that direction in order for BiH to receive funds from European funds.
