Dodik: The Referendum in the RS will be held!

The President of the RS Milorad Dodik claims that the referendum on the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H will be held in that BH entity.

“I have no doubts about that, regardless of the efforts that are being invested by one part of the international community”, said Dodik, adding that the RS will fight against the legal attack of the High Representative and for the affirmation of the Dayton Agreement.

He said he is not afraid, as he says, of political traitors who are working under the instructions of the international community and are sowing fear of holding the referendum.

“I am not afraid. I know what I am doing. This process must be held. It does not tolerate the discussion of who can be harmed, personally or politically. The referendum is important. If we do not oppose and do not put in the position of defense through the referendum, the RS will be an empty tourist attraction in a year or two”, said Dodik.

Dodik said that the aim of the referendum is also to point to the “unsustainability of such a judicial system”.

“If this aim can be achieved through the implementation of four basic areas of objections to the work of the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office, it will have fulfilled its objective. I am not sure anyone wants that, so I believe in the referendum and it will take place. I do not have any doubts”, Dodik said.

The ambassador of the Russian Federation to B&H Petr Ivancov said that his country will continue to support the RS in the decisions that are within the principles prescribed by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
