Yesterday, the high representative in BiH, Cristian Schmidt, has sent the last warning to the political parties to adopt amendments to the Electoral Law of BiH concerning transparency.
“The voice of the citizens must be respected as it is meant to be given, not as it is desired,” explained Schmidt.
“This is the last call to the parliamentary structure to make a decision. If not, I will consider this disrespect to voters and voters have their rights. This is not something given by anyone, these are electoral rights, said the high representative and said:
“Therefore, I will appeal to everyone and to the political parties to strengthen the integrity of the electoral process. But if this is not the case, it must happen now, not in the people’s month. We need it now. If it is not done, everyone knows that there one person in the city who has that authority and who has that authority. In that case, it is not about influencing or interfering in the work of the Parliament”.
And today, at the scheduled main trial before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was postponed because the prosecutors were not ready, the President of the RS Milorad Dodik, in an address to the public, among other things, once again insulted, according to his own admission, the “illegal” high representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, calling him a speculator and a liar .
“He just walked into BiH for one day. Are we to believe people like Murphy? Liars. Unfortunately, we live here with Muslims who think it’s okay. It’s not a problem to be in BiH, but we are bigger sovereignists than everyone Muslims together. Give us a constitution and we will act according to it. Then we don’t have any problem with BiH,” said Dodik.
He warned Schmidt not to make changes to the Election Law.
“We will pass our election law in the RS and have our election commission conduct the elections. I do not advise him to do that. Whoever he makes a fool here, they make a stupid country here. I want to live in a constitutional country, since it is not, I will not live in it RS will leave,” said Dodik, Raport writes.
