Dodik unsatisfied with Vučić’s visit to Sarajevo

To match interview BOSNIA-SERBS/The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik assessed that it is good for Serbia to build good relations in the region, but that it chose a wrong partner in B&H.

“Serbia is striving for affirming regional cooperation, which is good. However, I must say that the Government of Serbia chose a wrong partner in these negotiations. The Council of Ministers of B&H is just a subsidiary body to the Presidency of B&H; it has no state jurisdictions and therefore it would have been far more purposefully if the meeting of the Government of Serbia and the both entity governments was held in Sarajevo, Mostar or Banja Luka. Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have a government as a country! The entities have governments”, Dodik stated.

According to Dodik, relations between Serbia and Republika Srpska are truly at an enviably high level, which does not mean they cannot be improved.

“And they will be! The bridge on the Drina River, which will connect Bratunac and Ljubovija, or better said Srpska and Serbia, and which we will construct jointly is one in a series of joint projects”, Dodik said.
