Dodik’s racist Outburst: We cannot have joint Schools and Textbooks with Muslims

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)Milorad Dodik in an interview for the Russian agency Tas presented a series of scandalous theses. He justified the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and compared the situation in Ukraine and BiH.

Also, he expressed the shameful, racist position that the Republika Srpska (RS) cannot have joint schools and textbooks“with Muslims”.

When asked what the situation is today regarding the issue of a possible referendum on the exit of RS from BiH, Dodik said that the RS remains in that position and that it is still dissatisfied with BiH, but also that this idea is waiting for the appropriate moment.

“Our aspiration towards Serbia is natural. The situation is similar with the Russians in Ukraine, of whom there are 15 million in that country and for whom the Russian language has been banned by the leadership of that country. That is why Russia’s ”special operation” in Ukraine is justified by protecting the rights of its people. That’s how we here – with Muslims, we cannot have joint schools, joint textbooks,” said Dodik.

Ahead of the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, Dodik said that it will be an opportunity for them to discuss specific projects in the field of energy and “how the representatives of the West are behaving”.

“As for specific projects, we would like to receive additional confirmation that the focus and priority will be on all economic activities related to the oil and fuel oil refinery, construction of gas pipelines, gas power plants. Of course, we will wait for the moment, and as soon as it appears, we will start working on those projects,” added Dodik.

Dodik said that RS is grateful to Putin for maximum consistency in preserving the Dayton Peace Agreement, emphasizing that Russia never had any political demands from him.

RS, Dodik pointed out, wants to expand cultural cooperation with Russia, stating that the construction of a Russian-Serbian Orthodox center is underway in Banja Luka, for which he hopes will be completed in the near future, as well as that he will propose to Putin to visit Banja Luka when the center is completed, agency Srna reported.
