Domestic Klas agreed Export of 1,000 Tons of Flour to Turkey

meeting3Within a three-day visit to Turkey, the delegation of Novi Grad Sarajevo visited brotherhood Municipality of Derince in the Kocaeli province, one of the most industrialized provinces in the Republic of Turkey.

Cooperation between these two municipalities is dating since the 1997. This visit enlivened the cooperation and brotherly relations between the Municipality of Novi Grad and the Municipality of Derince, as announced by the Municipality of Novi Grad.

Important contacts were made among businessmen from the municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo and hosts businessmen, and they agreed on concrete steps for future cooperation. The Chamber of Commerce of the Kocaeli enabled the municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo to present their economy, which will be realized in the future. During this meeting, the company KLAS Ltd. from Sarajevo agreed to export 1,000 tons of flour to this part of Turkey by the end of 2015.

President of the Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce of the City of Istanbul Sekib Avdagic hosted the delegation of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo at the working dinner, and praised the concrete actions of the municipal delegation, offering himself on disposal for the realization of all projects that were agreed.

Minister of Science, Industry and Technology in the Government of the Republic of Turkey Fikri Isik received the delegation in the office of governor of the Kocaeli province Hasan Basri Guzeloglu.

“I am very pleased for having the opportunity to meet you and to be your host. The Government of Turkey is supporting all of your mutual arrangements and will stay behind any co-operation that was established. The way you organized with your businessmen and came to visit us is something new for us and we think that these kinds of visits are the key for strengthening and concretizing of cooperation between our two countries,” stated Minister Isik.
