Robot Bihac rtvslon.ba (1)With the solemn ribbon cutting, the Mayor of Bihac Emdzad Galijasevic and the Prime Minister of the Una-Sana Canton Izudin Saracevic, together with the owners of the company Robot, opened the new shopping centre of this company in Bihac.

The second sales centre of Robot covers over 6.500 square meters, and thanks to the investment worth 10 million BAM 80 new workers were employed.

Pointing out that each investor who wishes to invest in the City of Bihac is welcome, the Mayor Galijasevic said that Bihac became the trade centre of the Una-Sana Canton, with a large number of shopping centres visited by customers from the entire USC and the neighbouring Croatia.

“What I want to especially accentuate is that I urge all customers to buy domestic products in all shopping centres and shops in our city, because therefore they strengthen our economy and our country“, said the Mayor Galijasevic.

Galijasevic pointed out that he discussed the status of the former workers of BIRA, who are eagerly awaiting the resolution of their status, with the owner of the company Robot Selver Oruc.

“I was told today that they are on the right track to put BIRA in function again, and that it is certainly in no one’s interest to keep the factory closed, and the demand for the refrigerators exist. What has to be done here is to sit with cool heads and think of how to go on, but with the inclusion of the Government of the FB&H in this issue as well, because we as a city cannot do everything on our own”, added Galijasevic.

At the same time, during the official opening of the shopping center Robot, the fired employees of BIRA protested together with the representatives from the Movement for social justice.
