The authorized institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) are making all the preparations for pilgrims who are going to Hajj this year to be safe, taking all the security measures for this year’s Hajj organization to succeed, and two days ago stamping of passports of 1,411 pilgrims from B&H have started, which, among the others, completed duties towards the Ministry of Hajj of KSA.
The Director of the Office for Hajj and Umrah in B&H, muderiss Nezim ef. Halilović said that last week he went to KSA and made final preparations related to the organization of this year’s Hajj, all the contracts and preparations are completed, and certain steps on the issue of a better organization of the Hajj were taken as well.
Halilović reminded that after the last terrorist act that happened in the south of Saudi Arabia, noticeable anxiety is present among the citizens of KSA. This, he says, is concerning both the Government of KSA as well as the ordinary people, since the Hajj is the biggest gathering of Muslims.
“Allowed quota on the number of pilgrims for B&H is 1,411 pilgrims, and we already completed that number a month and a half ago, and stamping of the passports is now taking place. We have specific cases, where some of the pilgrims did not manage to arrive on time and we had to quickly finish the process of stamping the passports. Pilgrims will stay in KSA from 18 to 20 days. The planes with the pilgrims from B&H should take off to Medina on the 9th, 10th and 11th of September, and their return is scheduled for the 28th, 29th, 30th of September and the 1st of October “, he emphasized.
This year, special attention will be given to the education of pilgrims, and a number of seminars will be held in major Mufti units of Sarajevo, Mostar and Goražde.
