The conditions for the treatment and stay of patients at the “Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić” Cantonal Hospital in Bihać will be improved thanks to the donation of 45 electric hospital beds, which has provided this health institution with significant support in equipping hospital capacities.

The donation was realized thanks to the organizations SOS Balkanroute and Volkshilfe, with the support of the University Hospital in Linz, which donated beds, and the Red Cross of the Una-Sana Canton.

The “Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić” Cantonal Hospital expressed their gratitude to all the organizations and individuals who participated in the realization of the donation and who continuously support the work of the hospital and the needs of the local community with their humane actions.

It was pointed out that electric hospital beds will contribute to the creation of better conditions for patients, but will also improve the daily work of health personnel.

  • This kind of support represents an important contribution to improving the quality of health care and creating better conditions for our patients – it was pointed out from the Administration of the Cantonal Hospital in Bihać.

From this health institution, they thanked the donors for recognizing the needs of the community and for their support, which, they say, is an example of successful cooperation aimed at improving health care and the well-being of the citizens of the Una-Sana Canton.
