The Central Bank of BiH reveals the Amount of the Total Deposits

Total deposits of domestic sectors in BiH at the end of July amounted to 32.51 billion BAM and are higher by 512.7 million BAM or 1.6 percent than in the previous month, according to data from the Central Bank of BiH.

The increase in deposits on a monthly level was registered in the household sector by 58 million BAM or 0.3 percent, private companies by 265.8 million BAM or 3.6 percent, government institutions by 176.2 million BAM or 4.2 percent, and others domestic sectors by 49.7 million BAM or 2.7 percent.

Deposits at non-financial public companies decreased by 36.9 million BAM or 1.8 percent.

The annual growth rate of total deposits in July was 7.8 percent, in absolute terms 2.34 billion BAM.

The annual growth of deposits was registered in the household sector by BAM 1.38 billion or nine percent, private companies by BAM 935.5 million or 14 percent, non-financial public companies by BAM 78.5 million or 4.2 percent and by other domestic sectors by 70 million BAM or 3.8 percent.

At government institutions, deposits on an annual level decreased by 123.1 million BAM or 2.8 percent.
