Dragan Covic with Pope Francis: Thank You for Extraordinary Care for Croats and BiH

WCovic and PopeYesterday, the Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Covic was in the audience with the Holy Father Pope Francis in Vatican.

Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Covic and Pope Francis discussed the current situation in BiH, the socio-economic issues, the demographic situation and the situation of young people in BH society in this context.

Particular emphasis was placed on the current position of the Croatian people in BiH. Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Covic expressed his gratitude to the Holy See for continuous care for the Croats, as well as all other peoples in BiH.

Later on, the audience for a delegation of the Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH took place as well. At the end of the audience, the Holy Father blessed the delegation.

After the audience with the Holy Father, the Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH and his delegation met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of His Holiness Pope Francis.

During the day, they also visited Pontifical Croatian College of St. Jerome and the Vatican Secret Archives.
