Football National Team played a friendly match with Austria last night in Vienna. The final score was 1: 1. Dragons have had great support from the fans, and the head of the B&H Team, Mehmed Baždarević, went with somewhat more defensive line up.
Also, selector started with changed line up in comparison to the match against Andorra. However, the game was carefully opened by both teams. After 6 minutes, Hajrović tried his shot from 20 meters distance, but Ozcan was careful.
The hosts were dangerously threatening in the 16th minute from a free kick, but Begović intervened without major problems. After that intervention Austrians were increasingly pressuring B&H goal. After 25 minutes, the Austrian team was again threatening from a free kick. This time the ball went into the living wall.
The hosts dominated in midfield and took the initiative when Junuzović in the 34th minute, gambled Janko who checkmated Begović for 1: 0.
By the end of the first half, Hajrović had another attempt from free kick after 42 minutes. However, that was high over the bar. The first 45 minutes were completed with host’s minimal lead.
Later on, Baždarević introduced Šunjić in the game instead of Spahić, while Bešić replaced Pjanić. In the first serious attack Dragons scored for 1:1. Bešić had great run down the middle of field, the ball is pushed to the left side for Hajrović, who finally scored for 1: 1. The ball on its path caught one of the Austrian players.
