National football team of B&H gathered yesterday in Brussels, where preparations for the qualifying matches against Belgium and Andorra will take place.
Head coach Mehmed Baždarević invited a total of 24 players. The team should be completed on Monday, due to the obligations of individual players in their clubs, such as Pjanić, Džeko, Lulić, Hajrović, Medunjanin, Burić…
Coaches list include : Asmir Begović, Ibrahim Šehić, Jasmin Burić, Emir Spahić, Ognjen Vranješ, Sead Kolašinac, Ermin Bičakčić, Toni Šunjić, Josip Kvesić, Mensur Mujdža, Marin Aničić, Muhamed Bešić, Miralem Pjanić, Haris Medunjanin, Anel Hadžić, Mario Vrančić, Tino Sušić, Senad Lulić, Izet Hajrović, Edin Višća, Edin Džeko, Ermin Zec, Milan Đurić, Vedad Ibišević.
Baždarević is expecting a tough match against Belgium, but he believes that his players can get favorable results.
“They have one of the best national teams in Europe, but we must be ambitious and show determination. We are not afraid, we are going for a good result,” said the coach of B&H national team.
The match between Belgium – B&H is scheduled on the 3rd of September at the “King Baudoin” stadium in Brussels. Three days later, B&H will welcome Andorra on the “Bilino Polje” stadium.
The qualifying match between young U21 national team of B&H and Kazakhstan is scheduled on the 2nd September at the Stadium “Asim Ferhatović Hase.”
