The bombing of al-Ahli hospital in Gaza sparked a wave of anger and protests across the Middle East, with protesters taking to the streets in at least eight countries to condemn the deadly attack.
Hundreds of people protested in front of the British and French embassies in Tehran, while several thousand gathered in Palestine Square in the center of the city.
“Death to France and England,” shouted the protesters, throwing eggs at the walls of the French embassy in the capital of Iran.
In Jordan, thousands rallied outside the United States (U.S.) and Israeli embassies in Amman, with tens of thousands more taking to the streets across the country.
Protests also broke out in Lebanon, where Hezbollah exchanged fire with Israeli forces on the border.
As it was found out, angry protesters also gathered in front of the French embassy in Tunisia, also harshly attacking the U.S.
“The French and the Americans are allies of the Zionists,” shouted the protesters, the AFP news agency reported. The protesters demanded the recall of the ambassadors of both countries and shouted: “We do not want the American embassy on Tunisian soil.”
After the attack on the hospital in Gaza, dramatic situation started in Europe.
Eight airports in several major cities in France were evacuated after reports of a bomb threat, the French aviation authority DGAC said. Among the evacuated airports were those in Toulouse, Biarritz and Pau in the southwest, Nice in the southeast, Lyon in the east, Lille in the north, and Rennes and Nantes in the west of France, the spokesman for the DGAC and the Ministry of the Internal Affairs announced.
The threats were allegedly made by ISIS, according to social media.
And the Palace of Versailles was closed again due to the third security threat in the last five days.
The building of the Jewish community in the center of Berlin, which houses both a synagogue and a kindergarten, was attacked with a Molotov cocktail on Tuesday night, after which German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the strengthening of security measures around Jewish community facilities in Germany.
Since the attack by Hamas on Israel, which was celebrated openly in the streets in predominantly Arab neighborhoods, attacks on Jewish objects have been taking place in Berlin, and graffiti with the Star of David has appeared on buildings where families of Jewish origin live, N1 reports.
