“Druga Šantićeva Kuća“ : Poetry and Music Night Held in Nevesinje

95-santic-veceri-poezije8Within the 95th edition of the „Šantić Poetry Nights“, a poetry and music night entitled „Druga Šantićeva kuća“ was held last night in the town gallery in Nevesinje.

During the program, the artists from Nevesinje recited the poetry of Aleksa Šantić and played his songs. While marking 90 years from this poet’s death, the audience had a chance to remember the grandiose funeral of this poet in Mostar as well as some descriptions made by his contemporaries.about the time when the poet stayed in Nevesinje and made some of his greatest works.

As a special honour, a song composed especially for this occasion, was performed. – was announced from the SPKD Prosvjeta Mostar.
