[wzslider autoplay=”true”] On the way to Trebevic, where the largest amusement park in Sarajevo is currently under construction, the final preparations for putting into operation of the “alpine roller coaster” in a length of 600 meters, are currently taking place.
“Yesterday was held a test drive, which showed all the safety and security for future visitors of the largest amusement park in the region,” said Mirza Karic from the company Dubos, which was in charge for the feasibility study.
He added that this is a top equipment by the German manufacturer that has zero tolerance for violations, and that it never happened that the vehicle jumped out the rails.
The maximum speed that the vehicle at the “Alpine Coaster” can develop is 40 km/h, while it can also be corrected by using the lever that will be fixed to the vehicle.
Although the construction works on the amusement park “Sunnyland”, which occupies 16,500 m2 are almost completed, it is still unknown when will be the official opening of the amusement park.
“We cannot still say with certainty when will be the officially opening of the amusement park, since technical reception can last from 7 to 30 days, according to the law. We will have more information next week,” stated Karic.
Besides the amusement park, a restaurant with a beautiful panoramic view of Sarajevo will be built as well as parking with 300 places and indoors and outdoors playrooms for the youngest visitors.
When it comes to prices for using this adrenalin park, Karic said that it will be affordable for all citizens.
“Prices will not be higher than some common urban cost when it comes to food and drinks in the restaurant, and it is planned for the price of one roller coaster ride to be 5 BAM,” said Karic.
Construction works on the new amusement park have started in early 2015 and the value of the project is around 15 million BAM.
