Mayor of the Srebrenica Municipality Ćamil Duraković and the Municipal team for creating and implementing the Operational plan for funds spending are to travel to Serbia on Thursday, where they will meet with the deputy prime minister of Serbia.
Reason for the visit is presentation of projects which are significant for the development of the Srebrenica Municipality.
Duraković said that the projects to be presented are the construction of a new kindergarten, infrastructure projects and projects of general interest for the development of the Municipality.
“With the beginning of spring we will start with the implementation of intended projects for the development of tourism and the infrastructure which is a precondition for a normal life. Already in March we will be one of the largest construction sites in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We do not want a new Srebrenica – we want to revitalize our old town, which used to be an example of an industrial municipality which was in an expansion, and I believe that is possible,” Duraković said.
During the investment-development conference which was held in Srebrenica last year, the Government of Serbia promised to invest three million EUR in developmental projects and investments.
