The Montenegrin basketball coach Duško Ivanović might become the new coach of the B&H basketball team.
The expert advice of the B&H Basketball Association adopted at yesterday’s session in Sarajevo a decision to propose to the Board of Directors that Ivanović would succeed Aco Petrović as the coach.
As things stand now, and if there are no obstructions, by the end of January to Basketball Association Board of Directors are expected to name Ivanović as the coach of the team, which will take Mirza Teletović and his teammates at the Eurobasket in Ukraine in 2015.
Ivanović, who is 56 years old, began his career at Sisley Fribourg in the 1993/1994 season, where he was a player and trainer.
Afterwards, he was a coach several years for Fribourg, Olympic, Swiss basketball team, Limoges, TAU Ceramica from Spain and FC Barcelona.
In his career, he won several major trophies, including two national titles and four Cups of Spain.
