dzeko2The best BiH football striker Edin Džeko invited the voters to vote for Ćamil Duraković as the Mayor of Srebrenica in the upcoming local elections.

“Support Ćamil Duraković as the Mayor of Srebrenica,” said Džeko in a video that has been published on social networks.

Local elections in BiH will be held in October. For BiH and for the local community as well it is important that the former mayor Ćamil Duraković, who is pro-Europe oriented, wins the elections in Srebrenica again.

In 1992, a genocide was committed against Bosniaks in Srebrenica. For many people, it is important that Srebrenica is led by someone who will not deny the genocide, but who will work on reconciliation between Bosniaks and Serbs at the same time.

Duraković was previously supported by another BiH national team player Vedad Ibišević and the legendary boxer Adnan Ćatić – Felix Sturm.
