Bosnia and Herzegovina was hit by an earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale on Monday evening, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced.

The epicenter of the earthquake was six kilometers from Grud, or 32 kilometers from Mostar, and the ground shaking occurred at 19:29 at a depth of ten kilometers.

Numerous applications from citizens from the surrounding towns immediately appeared on the EMSC website. In the comments, it is reported that citizens felt at least three tremors, and it was especially pronounced in multi-story buildings.

The earthquake occurred only four days after a similar earthquake was recorded in the same area.

For now, there is no information about the consequences of the earthquake.
