Organized by the Brčko Fruit Club, the ninth touristic and economic event “Days of Fruit” started today at Trg mladih.
Savo Lukić, coordinator of the Fruit Club, says that at this event, the exhibitors presented their home-grown fruit, meat, dairy and honey products, as well as various handicrafts.
“The two-day tourism and economic event ‘Fruit Days’ in the District this year brought together more than 50 exhibitors from Brčko and neighboring cities and this is a great opportunity for smaller producers, as well as customers, because they can try and buy domestic products in one place,” he pointed out.
One of the exhibitors is Bećir Bešimović, who has been engaged in domestic production of liqueurs, honey, jam, vinegar, various preparations and teas for seven years.
“I offer 38 different types of liqueur and this is one of my best-selling products, and I can say that there is no continent where I have not sent this liqueur,” said Bešimović.
Members of the Women’s Association “Zena” from Janja near Bijeljina exhibited their homemade winter clothes, and the representative of this association, Ramiza Bogaljević, said on the occasion of this manifestation that they are in Brčko for the fifth time.
Suzana Stanojević from Modriča offered for the first time her home-made pasta, which she has been producing for a year from local products.
“Fruit Days” in Brčko will last until Saturday, October 14, and the sponsor of this event is the Brčko District Government.
