Edin Džeko suffered an injury in last night’s match against Anderlecht.

Džeko requested a substitution in the 75th minute due to pain in his hand. Today, bad news comes from Istanbul. Turkish TRT Spor reports that Džeko underwent tests and scans that confirmed a fractured hand.

Fortunately, Džeko should not have any major consequences or be absent from the field for a long time. Apparently, he will already be ready for the weekend and the match against Kasimpasa, which will be played on Sunday at 17:00.

Let’s also add that Fenerbahce and Džeko have started negotiations on a contract extension.

Our striker has scored 19 goals in 35 games this season.
