Edin Džeko visited the Municipality of Novi Grad

B&H national team player and world’s great football player Edin Džeko visited the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo. In a conversation with the Mayor of the Municipality, Semir Efendić and Sabahudin Delalić the national team leader in sitting volleyball, Džeko expressed his readiness to help the development of sport in the area of this Municipality.

”Manchest City” football player gave the Mayor his jersey as a present, while Efendić gave Džeko Delalić’s jersey in which Delalić won the gold medal on the Paralympic games in Lonodn.

“It is evident that this Municipality is a source of great sport talent, world famous players and Olympic champions. As a Mayor, I am proud that we have such great athletes.”- said Efendić

He also said that the Municipality of Novi Grad will support the initiative for Džeko to win the City of Sarajevo Award in Honor of April the 6th .
