Edita Đapo talked with the Head of the OSCE Mission in B&H

Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury Edita Đapo met and talked today in Sarajevo with the Head of the OSCE Mission in B&H, Ambassador Fletcher Burton. Deputy Minister Đapo introduced Ambassador Burton to current activities of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of B&H and well as to the current situation in B&H.

Ambassador Burton emphasized that it is essential to finish the work connected to the implementation of the ”Sejdić-Finci” verdict, and said that he expects that current political leaders will come up with a final solution on their next meeting. During the meeting, they also emphasized that the path of B&H towards the EU does not have any alternative, and that it is essential to speed up all reform processes, because the Croatian border will soon become the border of the EU for B&H.

Deputy Minister also introduced Ambassador Burton with current activities of the Council of Ministers of B&H concerning the up-coming admission of Croatia to the EU. Ambassador Burton said that OSCE supports B&H in the implementation of all structural reforms and steps conducted by the Council of Ministers in the field of lowering the public consumption.
