Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, met on Monday evening, November 25, with Mr. Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State, on the sidelines of the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Italy.
Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the meeting came within the regular coordination and consultation between Egypt and the United States to contain the escalation in the Middle East, and to discuss the latest developments regarding the negotiations for an immediate ceasefire in both the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
