Electronic Communication Market in B&H worth 1.4 Billion KM

Inspekcija-za-elektronske-komunikacije-51According to the Communication Regulatory Agency of B&H, the electronic communication market in B&H in 2012 had a value of 1.4 billion KM and recorded a 10% increase over the previous year.

The largestbenefit, more than half (53%) isfrommobile communications followed by wire-line communications(30%). A significant lowerincomeisfrom theInternetservice provider (10%), data transmission(1%) and cable television(6%).

The total income from the mobile communication market is increased by 9% compared to the previous year, while for the same period the total income in the wire-line communications market has increased by 14%.

The income from the Internet services has increased from year to year, and in 2012 achieved a growth of 3% over the previous year.

The total number of users of fixed telephone network by the end of 2012 was 886.292 or 23.09%. The number of subscribers of mobile phones was 3.352.331, or 87.25% (number of mobile subscribers per 100 inhabitants). The total number of Internet users on 31.12.2012 was 2.113.100, or 55%.
