In the last 24 hours, 11 newly infected with coronavirus were registered in Sarajevo, 28 people recovered and no deaths were recorded. Of the mentioned number of newly infected, seven of them, ie 63.63 percent, belong to family clusters or contacts with previously infected persons, which is why they are in self-isolation from before.

Currently, 111 patients are hospitalized in Canton Sarajevo (CS), 54 at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, and 57 patients at the General Hospital “Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakas”.

No hospitalized patient uses respirator support. At the same time, oxygen support for breathing above 15 liters per minute is used by 10 patients at the KCUS, and six at the General Hospital.

In the past 24 hours, two people have been released from hospitalization. 153 patients were examined in the Covid-dispensaries of the Public Institution Dom zdravlja CS, two of whom were transported to KCUS, and three to the General Hospital.

78 PCR tests were performed at the drive-in point in Vrbanja, while in Novi Grad, Semizovac and Ilidza there were no PCR tests in the past 24 hours.

A total of 206 PCR tests were taken at drive-in points and covid clinics. The Covid call center recorded 95 calls, and 139 interviews were conducted with patients via telephone numbers in Covid dispensaries.

Today, Sarajevo Canton records 469 active cases of COVID-19 infection. There are currently 2,436 of our fellow citizens in self-isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Sarajevo Canton, a total of 52,277 people have been infected with the coronavirus and 50,505 have been cured, Klix.ba writes.
