The police arrested 11 people in the operation “Herba” in the area of ​​Samac, Donji Zabar and Brcko District and found a kilogram of skunk, about 300 grams of heroin and a certain amount of cocaine, the Bijeljina Police Department announced.

The action was carried out by police officers of the Bijeljina Police Department and the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime, and searches were carried out at nine locations.

During the search, a kilogram of skunk, 28 stalks of Indian hemp, 136 grams of cocaine, about 300 grams of heroin, several digital scales with traces of drugs on them, several mobile phones, a pistol, an M48 rifle, several pieces of ammunition for pistols and a rifle, several pieces of ecstasy pills, money, were found and temporarily confiscated.

Yesterday, eight persons were handed over to the jurisdiction of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Doboj along with the report on the committed criminal acts of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs and illegal production and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.

The action was carried out on Monday and yesterday based on the order of the District Court in Doboj, under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office, and is aimed at preventing drug abuse.
