After the landing of the private airline Boeing 747-400 at the Sarajevo airport and verbal note by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates Podgorica, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an official apology for the misunderstanding.

A diplomatic note, delivered from the UAE Embassy in Podgorica, sent an urgent apology to the Bosnian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, for the misunderstanding with the international aid she sent, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH stated that in their actions related to the approval of the landing of planes at Sarajevo International Airport, they acted in accordance with the international provisions of the Chicago Convention and the Law on Air Traffic, which officially allow unannounced traffic in international air traffic.

It should be reminded that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced last night that the help of the wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the UAE, will arrive in BiH.

The plane landed at Sarajevo International Airport, but it is about help intended for Montenegro.
