B&H Donation Pakistan klix.baThe Embassy of B&H in Pakistan donated machines for filtering of drinking water to schools in the Pakistani region Dheri.

As the Ambassador of B&H to Pakistan Nedim Makarević said, the Dheri region in Punjab is one of the poorest in that part of Pakistan. An acute problem with drinking water is present there, due to a nearby salt mine.

Regarding this, the Embassy of B&H in Islamabad recently organized a campaign for helping the schools in this province and the funds were raised through charity concerts organized by the Ambassador Makarević.

The school director thanked B&H and the Ambassador Makarević for the assistance they really need, and the Ambassador highlighted that B&H is always there to help as much as possible.

“It is important to mention that the machines are financed from private sources and that the budget sources were not used. This is the third charity campaign implemented by the Embassy of B&H in Islamabad. Before this, school books were donated twice,” Makarević said.
