The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina reacted to the participation of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic, at the Crimean Platform and said that they were disappointed with this decision.
It was emphasized that Russia has repeatedly emphasized that the issue of Crimea’s statehood, which was resolved in full accordance with the norms of international law and the will of the people of the peninsula, is closed.
“No effortful attempts, accompanied by loud propaganda chatter, can change the fait accompli. Pseudo-arguments regarding the expression of solidarity with Ukraine in the context of the Russian special military operation do not hold water. It is a fight against the neo-Nazi ideology accepted by the Kiev regime, which is embodied daily in the sadistic killing of the civilian population, including children, and in a vile way,” the Embassy said.
They emphasized that because of this, the attitudes of certain BiH politicians are understood as absolutely illogical.
“They declare their anti-fascism and immediately repeat Kiev’s nationalist slogans and chants. Not seeing the Nazi component in the actions of official Kiev means having neither reason nor heart. Nothing but regret is caused by the tendency of certain political representatives of the Bosniak people to indiscriminately, contrary to the Dayton consensus procedure on foreign policy issues, join illegal anti-Russian restrictions. Not only we, but also our numerous interlocutors from the absolute majority of Islamic countries, do not understand such servility towards the West,” the Russian Embassy points out.
In the end, they said that they have repeatedly presented arguments that Russia is in no way interested in the destabilization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“All stories about the so-called malignant influence of Moscow are fueled by our Western opponents, who strive to keep Bosnia and Herzegovina in an oppressed, literally enslaved state, despite all the sweet words about a ‘European paradise.’ and ordinary citizens of BiH from equal and mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia at a time when in fact the whole of Europe is in fear of imminent economic cataclysms. We once again call on our partners from BiH to be reasonable and balanced. Otherwise, responsibility for all the consequences of a hypothetical deterioration of bilateral relations will be borne by those who are guided not by the basic interests of their peoples and citizens but by the orders of external mentors,” the Embassy concluded.
