vitezitEmployees of Vitezita, around 25 of them, arrived in the early morning in front of the building of the FB&H government to demand their rights.

They are seeking the introduction of binding employment and pensions for employees who have met the conditions for it, and the return of employees who are still not yet eligible for employment.

After more than 100 kilometers of walking and 23 hours spent traveling, the disenfranchised employees arrived in Sarajevo. Some of them ended up in the ER in Visoko and Sarajevo.

‘’People are exhausted, starved, frozen and they have blisters on their legs. They were given infusions in the ER and now they are sleeping in front of the government’’, said to klix.ba.

In the morning 25 arrived and they expect more to arrive during the day.

They previously sought a meeting with the Prime Minister of the FB&H Nermin Nikšić. However, they said that the Prime Minister turned a deaf ear to their calls for help.

‘’We will see whether it is announced today. We wanted to sit with Nikšić to agree on how to take it further, but no one has responded to us’’, he added.

As he said, employees announced a hunger strike and would stay in Sarajevo until their demands are not. They have brought tents.
