Ljeto na VlašićuInstead of Vlašić lifts Babanovac and Babanovac II, in the spring of 2017 Vlašić will have a new Four-Seater ski-lift that will lift its tourist to a higher level. The construction of a new football field with underground garages also started last month.

These new ski-lifts are provided by Ozon Company and their installation is planned for the spring of 2017. An interesting fact is that the lift will also be used during the summer season.

In his interview for Klix.ba, the director of the Tourist Board of Central Bosnia Canton, Miroslav Matošević, said that the equipment has already been supplied, but its installation is deferred for the next year.

“Six tows of equipment and the four-seater lift arrived for the installation of the new ski-lifts, that will be installed on the starting point, which will improve the distribution of skiers, according to EU standards,” said Matošević, adding that the installation will be deferred because of the current construction of a football field with an underground parking lot.

“These projects are very demanding and expensive. The construction of the football field started last month but even though the work was somewhat disturbed by rain, its completion is still expected for the end of this year,” added Matošević.

In Central Bosnia Canton, people are working on the development of their tourist offer, and the idea of football fields has been around for the last ten years.

“Antebellum, Vlašić was known as a place for the development of athletes. Next to the sports hall in the Sunce Hotel, the football field will look amazing. With other fields and the construction of the football field, the sport offer will be completed,” concluded Matošević for Klix.ba.
